Highlights


Add Attachments when Faxing Forms

Users can now select to add chart items as attachments when faxing forms. A new button has been added to the Fax window, clicking this button opens the Select Attachments window where users can now select attachments. After the user clicks OK, the selected items are added to the list of items being faxed.

Chronic Disease Management Worksheets

An update has been made so that users can now access CDM Mapping in the Chronic Disease Management worksheets. To access CDM Mapping, hover over the header of the appropriate cell and a configure icon is displayed, click this icon. A CDM Mappings window is then displayed containing only the mappings that are available in the current row.
Note: The new CDM Mapping icon is only available to users with the appropriate permissions.

Custom CDS Links as Actions

An update has been made so that the CDS Links that users create that are viewed from the CDS menu in Accuro can now also be docked on the Action bar. To dock a CDS item to the Action bar press the Alt button > type Configure Actions.

Diagnostic Code Indicator Icons

Users can now associate icons with common Diagnostic Codes, which will automatically display in the Patient Status bar for patients with the condition. When clicked, the Encounter Notes tab will open with the view filtered to display chart items and medical history that have been linked to the condition. Mapping the new icons to the common Diagnostic Codes is done in the Diagnosis Condition Mapping Window (press Alt > type in Diagnosis in the search field and then select "Condition Diagnosis Mapping" from the list displayed).

Manage Custom Allergies, Feature Permission

An update has been made to restrict the users who can add or remove Custom Allergies. Only users with Allergy Feature Access enabled will be able to add or remove Custom Allergies. To manage Custom Allergies press the Alt key > type Custom Allergies in the Search field.

Non Patient Tasks

Non Patient Tasks can now be created and viewed from the Home section.

Searching the Virtual Chart in the EMR

When a user searches the Virtual Chart in the EMR section, an update has been made so that the search now includes the Sub-Type field and the From field.

Viewing Allergy Details

An update has been made so users can now see Allergy reactions and comments in the Allergies Medical History Band in the Encounter Notes Tab (EMR > Encounter Notes).
Note: A user preference has also been added (Alt > User Preferences) for users who would prefer to hide the allergy details.

What's new in Accuro EMR?

It’s time again for another update to Accuro EMR! Read on for a description of the latest features and functions. You can always access release notes from the Help menu of Accuro. If you are unsure of how to Update Accuro, please contact QHR Client Services.

New Features

Only Show Favorites Toggle

When an Add Remove List has been set to 'favoritable' (e.g. in Query Alerts) there is now a new toggle button displayed that can filter the list to only show favorites. The toggle button is automatically displayed when the list is set to 'favoritable'. When the star on the button is grey, all items that would typically appear in the list are displayed (dependent on the category and filters selected) When the button is toggled on, the star changes to yellow to indicate that only favorites are being displayed.

Send Medeo Information Confirmation

A popup message has been added to confirm that a Medeo Information Email has been successfully sent to a patient. This message does not require any confirmation and disappears once the user clicks somewhere else in their window.

IMPROVEMENT

Delete External Medications

Users are now able to Delete an External Medication within 24 hours of adding it. If the External Medication is greater than 24 hours, the medication will be Cancelled instead.

Include Archived, Encounter Notes

An update has been made to the way the patient information is reloaded when Include Archived is selected, this will result in the patient's chart being loaded much faster.
Note: Include Archived is only visible in charts where a patent has archived notes.

Manage Discontinue Status List

When discontinuing active prescriptions, users can now Manage the reasons why a prescription is being discontinued. The manage option will only be available when the user action for the prescription is Hold, Release, Discontinue or Reactivate.
Note: The manage option is not available for clinics in Saskatchewan using the PIP module.

Patient Reason Note, Medeo Online Booking

A new system setting has been added that will copy the Medeo Appointment Reason to the Accuro Appointment reason field.

Prompt for Reason, Medeo Online Booking

An update has been made so that users can choose from their pre-configured Accept or Reject responses to Medeo Booking Requests or they can be prompted to type a custom message to the patient.

Refresh Patient Chart, CDM Worksheet

An update has been made to ensure that viewing, saving or closing a CDM worksheet in the patient's chart is only refreshed when there has been a change.

Maintenance and Issue Fixes

BUG

Accuro Clock Font Settings

The Accuro Clock font settings were not changing when users selected a new font size and type face. An update has been made to ensure that the Accuro clock is displayed in the font size and type face selected by users.

Approve Claim Action (MB)

A warning message is now displayed if a user attempts to submit with no claims or no claims that are valid.

Health Card Labels

Health Card Labels weren't always consistent. An update has been made to standardize them in Accuro.

Traffic Manager Icon, Scheduler

An update has been made to ensure that the Traffic Manager icon displayed in the Scheduler is cleared as soon as the appointment has been completed in the Traffic Manager.
