Accuro©EMR
(with no version number on the login screen) is the most recent version of
Accuro available. The reason for no version number is because Optimed has moved
to a more regular release schedule to avoid large annual releases. Optimed is
now offering 6-week updates to all customers. This means that roughly every 6
weeks we will provide a release in the form of “Update Accuro” which you can
run at your convenience. Note that once you update one of your computers, all
of your computers will need the update run.
The release
notes below are dated. When you apply the update, you will receive all changes
since your last update. To find the last date you updated, login to Accuro and
click Help > About > Details.
Billing
When the user saves a bill with an inactive referring provider the following message is displayed, “The referring provider of this bill is currently inactive. Select an active provider.” If the user tries to submit a bill with an inactive referring provider, the bill will not be submitted. Bills can be accessed by clicking Claims > Select the Daily Claims or Unsubmitted Claims tab.
CDM Worksheet
1) A button called “Select Recent Values” has been added to the Worksheet. When pressed the most recent values will be selected.
2) CDM Worksheets have been updated to calculate the “Next Due” date by using the lab observation date rather than the worksheet encounter date.
3) CDM Worksheets has been updated to ensure that as new results are received, the previous worksheet is not updated automatically. There is a system preference to reverse this called, “Automatically Update Existing CDM Worksheets.”
The CDM Worksheets can be accessed by clicking EMR > select the Encounter Notes tab > Click the down-arrow in the Clinical Notes section > The CDM Worksheets are located at the bottom of the Forms list.
Other
The Billed and Paid Report has been updated to allow the user to select the start and end dates that apply to invoiced or submitted dates as an alternative to date of service. Reports can be accessed by pressing Ctrl+R from anywhere in Accuro.
Reporting
The Provider Revenue Summary report now includes the full first name of the provider rather than just the first initial. Reports can be accessed by pressing Ctrl+R from anywhere in Accuro.
Scheduling
The Scheduler has been updated to display one of two icons for the Health Card validation status of a patient. The status options available are valid, invalid or unknown. If the status is invalid an exclamation mark is displayed, for a valid status a check mark is displayed and for unknown status no icon is displayed.
